Southern Lace Photo + Film
FAQ With Southern Lace
What if we don't know how to pose?
- Thats okay! I easily guide and direct each person in the session, I will even do the pose myself and run through a practice with you before the real thing.
Can we do the session in the middle of the day?
- Unfortunately, no. Southern Lace Photo is a moody editor. We shoot in the early mornings, or late evenings. This ensures that the sun is not harsh, hot, and casting harsh shadows.
How long does it take to get my photos back?
- You can expect a sneak peek within a week post session date. You can expect to receive proofing galleries, and full galleries within 1-6 weeks. That is a long timeframe, but as a full time Vet Assistant and Momma, I set the earliest and latest timeframe to ensure that photos are delivered in a timely manner I know I can meet. ( Wedding galleries could be on the later end of eight weeks to fully return.)
How do you accept payment?
- I accept cash, Pay-pal, Facebook pay, and Venmo. I do not accept personal checks of any kind. Payments must be rendered no later than the day of the session for all sessions outside of weddings.
How do I choose a location and outfit?
- We will discuss what your vision is for the session. Based on that vision, I will give a few locations to choose from. Once we set those, we will discuss outfit options.
Do you travel any?
- I travel all over! I travel anywhere inside Scott County, Rugby, and Big South Fork, TN areas with no travel fee. Any surrounding areas for travel up to two hours of travel time, I ask for a $50 travel fee. I do travel beyond that, travel fees vary on location, travel and stay accommodations, and can be quoted.
Can I choose between film edit and your standard editing style?
- Of course! Not everyone likes a film editing style, also it does not fit every session style. Film editing is more grainy and antique looking. I will send you a questionnaire to answer questions regarding you and your up coming session. One question in it will give you the option to choose which you like best. Here are examples below.
